Terms of Service

Last updated 4 September 2026

Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and Teamaet Inc. ("Teamaet", "we"). They apply whether you reach Teamaet through the web app or the iOS or Android apps. By using Teamaet, you accept them.

Where an organization — a school, club, or program — provides Teamaet to you, that organization's agreement with us governs the relationship, and these terms cover your individual use.

Accounts

You need an account to use Teamaet. Keep your credentials to yourself, give us accurate information, and tell us if you believe someone else has access to your account. Accounts are for one person and are not to be shared.

Teamaet is not intended for anyone under 13. Where an organization enrolls minors, that organization is responsible for obtaining the consents its jurisdiction requires.

Acceptable use

Teamaet includes shared spaces — the team board, groups, and messages. In those spaces, do not post content that harasses, threatens, or demeans another person, and do not attempt to identify or expose another athlete's private reflections. Coaches and administrators may moderate shared content.

Do not attempt to access data belonging to athletes or teams you are not responsible for, interfere with the service, or use it to build a competing product.

Your content

What you write in Teamaet stays yours. You grant us the licence we need to run the service — to store your content, show it to the people your settings permit, and process it to generate the signals, summaries, and recommendations the product exists to provide. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train third-party models for purposes unrelated to your use of Teamaet.

Separately from your content, we record how the product is used — which screens are opened and which actions are taken — and that record is identified rather than anonymous, meaning it is tied to your account and shared with our analytics provider. It does not include what you write or your wellbeing scores, screen recording is off, and the support screen is excluded from it entirely. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is collected and who can see it.

AI-generated content

Teamaet uses AI to generate summaries, explanations, and suggested exercises. These are aids to judgment, not instructions, and they can be wrong. Coaches remain responsible for coaching decisions. Athletes remain responsible for their own wellbeing decisions.

Not a medical service

Teamaet supports mental performance. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical care, and nothing in it is medical advice. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.

Availability, changes, and ending your use

We work to keep Teamaet available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features, and will give organizations reasonable notice of material changes. You may stop using Teamaet at any time and request deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

Liability and governing law

To the extent the law allows, Teamaet is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
